Westward American Single Malt

An American single malt made from 100% Pacific Northwest two-row malted barley, brewed by the Portland distillery as an artisanal ale first, then double-distilled in copper stills. It matures in heavily toasted, lightly charred new American oak barrels, exposed to Oregon's hot summers and cool, wet winters. The nose shows orange peel, caramel and toasted nuts; the palate brings stone fruit, vanilla, honey and coconut; the finish holds toffee, light oak and roasted fruit. Bottled at 45% ABV, non-chill filtered.
