The Hearach

700 ml presentation. The historic first single malt from the Isle of Harris, released in 2023 after years of anticipation. Made with 100% Scottish Concord barley, lightly peated (12-15 ppm), and Hebridean water, with a fermentation of up to five days and maturation of at least five years in three cask types: first-fill bourbon, Oloroso and Fino sherry. Bottled at 46%, natural colour and non-chill filtered. Volume: 70cl ABV: 46% Flavour profile The aroma: Beach bonfires, orchard fruit, ginger, vanilla and floral honey. On the palate: Scottish tablet, apples, nutty malt, clotted cream and gentle peat smoke. Finish notes: Bright and delicately smoky.
