Mackmyra Svensk Ek

The single malt that defines Mackmyra's style, with Swedish oak as the protagonist: 68% ex-bourbon, 12% new Oloroso, 10% Swedish oak from Visingsö and 10% new American oak, at 46.1%, non-chill filtered and uncoloured. Pear, apricot, citrus, vanilla fudge and ginger on the nose; pear, dried ginger, sweet almond, bready malt and spicy oak on the palate; a long, warming, spicy finish. 46.1%, 700 ml.
