Description
The flagship single malt from Lindores Abbey, bottled at 46% ABV, named MCDXCIV (1494) after the earliest written record of Scotch whisky distillation. Matured in ex-bourbon barrels, oloroso sherry butts and STR Burgundy red-wine barriques, then married in sherry butts. Smooth and elegant, with vanilla, caramel, green apples, dried fruit, raisins, citrus and a light finish with cinnamon notes.
