Description
The house flagship single malt (48%, reduced pre-bottling, non-chill-filtered), launched in 2023 from 2018 distillate. The key is the re-charred cask that held 'Mellowed Kozuru' shochu, vatted with ex-bourbon, sherry and new oak. Honey, banana and lemon tea; quince candy, Japanese cinnamon and ginger, with a gentle sea-air finish — Kagoshima's trademark 'mellow' balance.
