Dà Mhìle Single Malt

The organic single malt of the family distillery Dà Mhìle (pronounced 'da-vee-lay') in Ffostrasol (Ceredigion): UK organic barley distilled on its wood-fired copper pot still, non-chill-filtered and uncoloured. This edition matured for almost nine years in a single first-fill sherry hogshead: a sweet nose of malt and cherry tobacco, with vanilla, sundried banana and maple; on the palate, initial fruity sweetness and warmth give way to classic malt and green apple; a silky finish with vanilla, oak and balanced tannins. 46%, 700 ml.
