Connemara Peated Single Malt

The first peated Irish single malt of the modern era and one of the only smoky whiskeys Ireland produces. Made at the Cooley Distillery from malted barley dried over peat fires, reviving the style common in Ireland before the 20th century. Double distilled and matured in ex-bourbon barrels, it delivers a delicate, well-integrated smoke. Nose of peat, heather, floral notes and honey. A creamy palate of honey, pear, sweet malt, vanilla and earthy smoke. Medium finish, with honey and dying embers. Bottled at 40% ABV.
