The Balvenie PortWood 21 YO

A 21-year-old single malt from The Balvenie, matured in traditional American oak ex-bourbon casks and finished in large Portuguese oak port wine pipes. Reddish-amber in hue, the nose is a perfume of fruity, ripe raisin notes backed by a nutty dryness. The palate is refined, remarkably creamy and silky with fruit, honey and spice; the finish is long, gentle and nutty.
