Agitator The Swedish Malt

The flagship single malt of Agitator, the first Swedish distiller to use chestnut oak (a wood banned in Scotland) and vacuum distillation: at lower pressure (0.3 bar) the alcohol boils at a lower temperature and yields a lighter, more floral spirit. It matures in a four-way combination of new American oak, bourbon, sherry and chestnut casks. A fruity, citrus nose with red apple, pineapple, dried fruit, vanilla and a hint of smoke; soft and sweet on the palate with milk chocolate, sea salt and candied fruit; a medium finish with spiced oak. 43%, 500 ml.
