Agitator Distillery

A Swedish distillery in Arboga founded in 2015 under Nordic Whisky Capital, maker of Sweden's best-selling whisky brand. Its signature is vacuum distillation (0.3 bar, lower boiling point) and chestnut casks, a wood banned in Scotland; its single malts mature in a four-way combination of new American oak, bourbon, sherry and chestnut casks. Its flagship single malt, 'The Swedish Malt', reached Systembolaget in November 2021.
