Abhainn Dearg 10 Year Old

700 ml presentation. The first ten-year-old single malt from Abhainn Dearg, released in the winter of 2018 as the distillery's oldest expression to date. Fully matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks sourced from Buffalo Trace (Kentucky) and bottled at 46%, natural colour and non-chill filtered. A sweet nose and honeyed taste, with the coastal character of the Isle of Lewis. Volume: 70cl ABV: 46% Flavour profile The aroma: Sweet and honeyed, with honey, pear, apple, almonds and light oak. On the palate: Waxy malt, wheat and barley, pepper, citrus oils and maritime notes. Finish notes: Medium, sweet, with chocolate, nuts and oak.
