Sakurao Distillery

The distillery of the beverage firm Chugoku Jozo, founded in 1918 and renamed Sakurao in 2021, opened in 2017 in Hatsukaichi (Hiroshima) on the shores of the Seto Inland Sea. It is the home of Togouchi whisky — whose maturation in the old railway tunnel of the Togouchi valley is legendary — and of its own Japanese malt spirits.
