Miyagikyo Distillery

Nikka's second distillery, opened in 1969 by Masataka Taketsuru in a leafy valley near Sendai, on the island of Honshū. The counterpart to Yoichi's power, its indirect-steam pot stills distill an elegant, fruity and floral style; it also houses the Coffey continuous column stills behind the house's grain whisky.
