London Distillery

The London Distillery Company (TLDC) is a revived "phoenix" distillery that holds a unique place in English whisky history.

Originally established in 2011 in Battersea, London, it became the first new whisky distillery to open in the capital since the Lea Valley Distillery closed in 1903. The founders were inspired by an unfulfilled 1807 vision by engineer Ralph Dodd to create pure, unadulterated spirits. While the 2011 iteration gained strong recognition for mixing traditional methods with modern craft curiosity, it faced financial challenges and ceased operations in 2020.

In January 2025, the brand was relaunched by Gleann Mor Spirits, breathing new life into the remaining casks and reviving the label with a focus on both blended and single malt English whiskies.
