Girvan

William Grant & Sons' grain distillery on the Ayrshire coast, built in just nine months in 1963 after a supply dispute pushed the Grant family to produce their own grain whisky. It supplies the grain for Grant's and Clan MacGregor, produces the Girvan Patent Still single grains - including the No. 4, distilled under vacuum since 1992 - and also hosts the Ailsa Bay single malt and the Hendrick's gin distillery.
