#2 History
Scotland's smallest traditional distillery and the last farm distillery in production, handmaking single malt. Founded in 1825 by a cooperative of local farmers, it operates with Victorian-era equipment including an open mash tun over 110 years old, Oregon pine washbacks, and copper pot stills with worm tubs. Produces both unpeated (Edradour) and peated (Ballechin) expressions.
