History

Independent bottler and blended malt house founded in 1948 by Fred Douglas Laing in Glasgow. Still family-owned, it became famous for its Big Peat range, a blended malt of Islay single malts, along with its 'Programme of Opportunities' and the Strathearn distillery acquired in 2019.
