Aultmore

Founded in 1895 by Alexander Edward near Keith in Banffshire, its name means "the big burn" in Gaelic. Historically a secret distillery whose whisky went into blends like Dewar's, it only released its first official bottling in 2004. Its water comes from the remote Foggie Moss, lending a delicate, herbal character.
