Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey

An American single malt distilled in Denver — the house 'Rocky Mountain Whiskey'. Made from 100% malted barley, double-distilled in copper pot stills and aged 4 to 7 years in new American oak barrels (#3 char), cut with Rocky Mountain spring water and non-chill filtered. The nose shows caramel-butterscotch, vanilla, maple syrup and leather; the palate brings melted cinnamon, chocolate, caramel and spiced pear with a hint of cayenne; the finish holds light fruit, strong oak, rich tobacco and aged leather. Bottled at 47% ABV.
