Michter's US*1 Single Barrel Rye

Kentucky Straight Rye made one barrel at a time in Louisville from an undisclosed rye-heavy mash bill, matured in fire-charred new American white oak barrels. The nose shows pepper-forward spice, citrus, butterscotch and oak; the palate brings warm baking spice, caramel and sweet oak with a buttery mouthfeel; the finish is dry, with gingerbread, oak and a soft lingering pepper. Bottled at 42.4% ABV.
