A wheated, small-batch bourbon produced in Loretto, Kentucky since 1954 by the Samuels family. It is made with soft red winter wheat instead of rye, giving it a smooth, sweet character with notes of caramel, vanilla and oak. Bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV), it is recognisable by its hand-dipped red wax seal.
