Crown Royal Deluxe

The Canadian blend created in 1939 to honour the first royal tour of George VI and Queen Elizabeth across Canada, dressed in its iconic purple velvet bag. A marriage of around 50 whiskies — mostly column rye, corn and barley — matured in new charred oak and ex-bourbon barrels, married and re-finished in Gimli, Manitoba. Vanilla, corn and sweet oak notes on the nose; creamy toffee and spice on the palate; soft, clean finish. 40%, 750 ml.
