Arran Barley Year Old

Arran Barley Year Old is the first edition of Isle of Arran’s "Local Barley" series, made with Optic barley grown at Bellevue Farm on the island itself and matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and second-fill sherry hogsheads. Bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour. Nose of fresh herbs and citrus, with vanilla and a hint of aniseed. On the palate, layers of biscuity malt and spicy ginger alongside soft oak and vibrant summer fruits. Finish is clean and dry, leaving delicate traces of citrus and cereal.
