Akkeshi Single Malt Kanro

The debut that put Akkeshi on the map: Kanro ('cold dew', 寒露), the first bottle of Akkeshi's 'Twenty-Four Solar Terms' series, was released on 28 October 2020 in only 15,000 bottles and won Best Japanese Single Malt at the 2021 World Whiskies Awards. Lightly peated barley (~30 ppm), aged in bourbon, sherry, red-wine and mizunara casks. Maritime freshness, strawberry and creamy chocolate.
