Aber Falls Single Malt

The flagship single malt of the first whisky distillery in North Wales in over a hundred years: 100% Welsh barley and borehole water drawn from the Rhaeadr Fawr waterfall itself, distilled in copper pot stills and matured at the distillery beside the coast. It ages in a blend of sherry (PX and Oloroso), American bourbon and virgin oak casks: vanilla and toffee, candied citrus, fig and sultana, gentle clove and spice; on the palate sweet sherry, dried fruit, forest berries, creamy malt, nuts, dark chocolate and a hint of espresso. A long finish of dried fruit and subtle spice. 47%, 700 ml.
