Wolfburn Aurora

This beautiful sherry-cask whisky is made from spirit aged in a combination of bourbon and oloroso sherry casks. The spirit, benefiting from a long fermentation and a slow, gentle distillation, is laid down in our purpose-built warehouses. At the end of the maturation process the casks are married together to create an exceptionally smooth and perfectly balanced dram. ABV: 46% Nose: sherry sweetness followed by fresh-cut grass and autumn fruit aromas, with just a hint of coffee and dark chocolate. Palate: floral tones dominate, with subtle spice and vanilla. A fruity sweetness envelops the palate, with fruit and nut flavours giving way to a warm, smooth finish.
