700 ml bottle. First-fill single malt Scotch whisky. Our Cask Strength is a first-fill whisky matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. DESCRIPTION: The Cask Strength edition is our most vibrant expression, yet it still retains the rich, sweet nuances characteristic of Tomatin. Matured in a classic combination of first-fill ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, golden syrup and ginger biscuit aromas prevail, while malt bread and marzipan flavours lead to a lingering dry, spicy finish. Tasting Notes Nose: caramel and chopped nuts, then Seville orange, red berries, and black pepper. Palate: ginger, green apple, and a touch of briny sea air, with sweet cooking spices and dark chocolate. Finish: vanilla and burnt sugar notes.
