Tamnavulin Sauvignon Blanc

It is double-matured in old Sauvignon Blanc white wine casks after aging in American oak casks. Tamnavulin was built in 1966 in the rural village of Tomnavoulin, Scotland. Almost three decades later, it closed again. After an extensive renovation, the distillery reopened in 2007. Nose: citrus fruit and green apples with spicy, oak-laden aromas. Palate: spices with green apple and oak aromas.
