700 ml bottle. 70 cl – 43% Tamdhu extends its permanent range with this twelve-year-old whisky. Like the 10 Year Old, it is fully matured in first and second fill Oloroso sherry casks. The extra two years of maturation bring even greater refinement and added complexity. Vintage-style bottle in an elegant case. Gold Medal at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Colour: dark gold. Nose: blackcurrant and raisin aromas, candied orange, malted barley, cinnamon, oak wood, and a hint of mint chocolate. Palate: wonderfully smooth with beautiful sherry influences and notes of banana, plum, raisins, sweet berries, and butter cake. The finish is long and balanced with notes of dried fruit and delicious cinnamon.
