A Canadian, he has worked in the spirits industry for over 30 years and oversees all Buffalo Trace whiskies as well as the Legacy brand. ABV: 40% Nose: The nose is bright, opening with touches of cardamom, clove and juniper. After a while, a stronger aroma of evergreen trees and pine emerges. Palate: The flavour of this whisky is dominated by a floral sweetness. Spice is still present, but decidedly more complex flavours emerge. Imagine molasses cut with ground pepper and a subtle rye spiciness.
