Kilchoman Sanaig

700 ml bottle. Region: Islay Named after a bay on Islay's rugged Atlantic coast, Sanaig is a vatting of sherry and bourbon casks. The high proportion of oloroso sherry adds a balance of dried fruit and spice to Kilchoman's classic citrus sweetness and peat smoke character. NOSE Fragrant heather, raisins, pear and orange peel with waves of stone fruit, mixed spice and rich peat smoke. PALATE Ripe plums, red cherries and citrus hints give way to rich barbecue peat smoke, caramel, oak and dark chocolate. FINISH A blend of fruit, caramel, cinnamon and clove with layers of brown sugar, spice, peat smoke and lingering sweetness.
