Kilchoman Machir Bay Cask

This limited edition is made using the same vatted recipe as our regular Machir Bay bottling; however, rather than reducing the strength to 46% vol., we have released a limited number of bottles at cask strength — 58.3% vol. The higher alcohol content allows the quality and intensity of the Kilchoman spirit to shine. ABV: 58.3% Nose: Notes of honey mixed with a greenhouse floral note and a touch of sweet smoke. Palate: Dry wood, citrus and antiseptic again, and curiously, hard cheese and nutty notes.
