Glencadam Origin

700 ml presentation. The Glencadam distillery opened its doors in 1825 and little has changed since. A very special selection of casks was chosen for the Origin 1825 edition. The final selection consisted of a unique combination of whisky matured in first-fill American white oak bourbon casks, with whisky “finished” in the finest Spanish oloroso sherry butts. ABV 40%. Colour: Warm gold. Nose: Sweet orchard fruits and blossom honey mingled with roasted apple and touches of cinnamon. Palate: Layers of fresh banana and pear, followed by sweet barley sugar, dehydrated pineapple, and gentle cake spices. Finish: Smooth and fruity, with notes of pear drops, lemon drizzle cake, and candied peel.
