Cu Bocan Signature

700 ml. Tomatin's lightly peated single malt series, Cù Bòcan, received a subtle redesign in mid-2019, with new bottles and new expressions — including this one! Cù Bòcan Signature is a lightly peated expression drawn from a trio of casks: bourbon barrels, oloroso sherry butts, and North American virgin oak. No chill-filtration or added colouring for this, just a fruity and gently smoky whisky. Tasting Notes Nose: Dry and fragrant, with wood smoke, dried lemon peel, and a touch of vanilla, followed by orchard fruit and heather honey, with a hint of liquorice. Palate: BBQ charcoal, cooking spices, and Conference pear initially, followed by orange peel and touches of leather and espresso. Finish: Muscat grapes, light smoke, and a touch of walnut.
