The anCnoc 18 Year Old has been matured in Spanish oak ex-sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon casks, and has been bottled in its most natural form, non-chill-filtered and with no colouring. As a result, this dram may develop a slight haze with the addition of water or when kept at a cold temperature. This haze is a natural characteristic of non-chill-filtered whisky. Colour: Bronzed amber. Nose: Smooth spices and intense dried fruit sweetness topped with chocolate, ripe oranges, and oiled leather. Palate: Full-bodied and bold, the aromatic spices, fruit bread, and candied lemon are followed by a wave of vanilla, honey, and caramel. The finish transforms from spicy and zesty to deliciously sweet and smooth. Vol. alc. 46%
