White Oak Distillery traces its roots to Eigashima Shuzo, founded in 1888 in Akashi on Japan's Honshu island. The company holds one of Japan's oldest whisky licences, producing the Akashi single malt at a gentle, slow pace. Its style favours light, floral and softly malty whiskies.
