Walsh Whiskey was founded in 1999 by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh to create distinctive Irish whiskeys. Its brands, The Irishman and Writers' Tears, blend pot still and grain whiskey in a soft, complex, triple-distilled style. Production now runs at its Royal Oak distillery in County Carlow.
