Suntory

Suntory was founded in 1899 by Shinjirō Torii; its Yamazaki distillery (1923) was Japan's first malt whisky distillery. Its Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita houses feed the house's Japanese blends, including the emblematic Hibiki, whose velvety balance and haunting mizunara oak have earned it worldwide fame. From Osaka it orchestrates the perfect marriage of malt and grain.
