Springbank Distillery

Independent family-owned distillery in Campbeltown on the Kintyre peninsula, the oldest in Scotland to remain in the same family (the Mitchells) since 1837. Founded in 1828, it is the only Scottish distillery to carry out 100% of the process on site, from floor malting to bottling. It produces three distinct single malts: Springbank (lightly peated, distilled 2.5 times), Longrow (heavily peated, double distilled) and Hazelburn (unpeated, triple distilled). A cult dram, famous for the maritime, oily, funky character typical of Campbeltown.
