Old Pulteney Distillery

Old Pulteney, founded in 1826 in the fishing town of Wick in the far north of Scotland, is one of the country's most northerly distilleries. With no nearby peat deposits, its unpeated malt takes on a signature salty, maritime character shaped by sea air and maturation in coastal warehouses. It is a classic of the maritime style, with briny, honeyed and gently spicy notes.
