Oban

One of Scotland's oldest distilleries, founded in 1794 by brothers John and Hugh Stevenson in the port town of Oban on the west coast of the Highlands. With just two stills, it is one of the country's smallest. Its whisky has a "West Highland" character, between the smokiness of the islands and the sweetness of the Highland malts, with maritime and salty notes. Owned by Diageo.
