Glendronach

A Highland single malt distillery in the Valley of Forgue, near Huntly, Aberdeenshire. Founded in 1826 by James Allardice and owned by the Brown-Forman group, it is one of the few Scottish distilleries devoted almost entirely to sherry maturation, using Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks from Andalusia. Its sherry-rich malts, such as the legendary 18 Allardice, have earned it a reputation as the pinnacle of the sherried style.
