History

Founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson beside the Cromarty Firth, The Dalmore is one of the Highlands' most celebrated distilleries. Its emblem is the twelve-point stag of the Mackenzie clan, granted in 1263. The whisky is rich and complex, shaped by long sherry-cask maturation with notes of dark chocolate, citrus and spice.
